The 6R140 is Ford's six-speed automatic for their 2011-2019 Super Duty trucks. It's design is based on longtime transmission manufacturer ZF's ZF6HP26, so its overall architecture is proven, but this heavy duty version does have its own issues that are remedied with these parts and procedures among others:
